The EMI Academy is engaged in congress organization, publishing, consulting and educational activities. For seven years, nine "International EMI Entrepreneurship and Social Sciences Congresses" have been organized, and three international refereed and indexed journals are regularly published twice a year. The EMI Academy also conducts leadership and executive development programs in Türkiye, such as internships and training for educators.
The EMI brand has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
The EMI Academy has consultancy services providing comprehensive support for investors and entrepreneurs, encompassing various layers in project management and financial administration. Under EMI, we offer services that include technical, contractual, administrative, and legal management at every stage of the investment process. In the context of financial management, protective measures are implemented to safeguard investors' financial interests, quality, and timeliness.
The EMI Academy collaborates with universities and academics from many countries, especially in the Turkic world. Collaboration protocols (MoU) have been signed with TEAM University and Navoi State Mining and Technology University from Uzbekistan, Turan University from Kazakhstan, and Khazar University from Azerbaijan, Mardin Artuklu University Tourism Faculty. EMI is also in cooperation with institutions in Turkey, including Dilkur Academy and CEO TEKMER, as well as Universities in Northern Cyprus, and Vision University in North Macedonia.
The first and third EMI congresses were held in Northern Cyprus, the second and eighth in Cappadocia, the fourth in Istanbul, the fifth in Gostivar, North Macedonia, the sixth in Gorazde, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the seventh and ninth in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In these nine EMI congresses, a total of 1,730 papers prepared by 2,819 academics were presented. Each EMI Congress sees participation from over 20 countries and more than 100 universities. These papers are published in the proceedings book with an ISBN number (www.emissc.org).
The first and third EMI Congress was held in TRNC, the second in Cappadocia, the fourth in Istanbul, the fifth in Gostivar/Macedonia, the sixth in Gorazde, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the seventh in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and the eighth in Aksaray Science Center. The language of the congress is English & Turkish, and the abstract and full text of the papers presented at the congress are published in the “Proceedings Book” with ISBN numbers. Some of the studies presented at the congress are as book chapters in the national-international book; Some studies can also be published as articles in national-international peer-reviewed journals specified on the congress website.
The 8th EMI Congress was held in Aksaray Science Center on 17-19 November 2022, hosted by Aksaray Municipality. 337 academics from 129 universities in 20 countries such as Turkey, Kazakhstan, Canada, Romania, England, New Zealand, USA, Nigeria, TRNC, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Pakistan, Georgia, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bangladesh. 215 scientific papers were presented with their face-to-face/online participation and contributions.
The 8th Congress started with the Turkish Music concert of Associate Professor Ali Kerim ÖNER & Dr. Ayçin ÖNER. At the opening of the congress, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University founding rector and MHP Deputy Chairman Prof.Dr.Filiz KILIÇ, Cappadocia University Rector Prof.Dr.Hasan Ali KARASAR, Congress President Prof. Dr. Himmet KARADAL, TRNC Prof.Dr.Mustafa TÜMER, Turan University Vice Rector Assoc.Dr.Gulzhanat TAYAUOVA from Kazakhstan, Director of State Pedagogical University from Azerbaijan Assoc. ABUBAKAR delivered keynote speeches on entrepreneurship and social sciences.
In the opening session of the 8th Congress titled "Entrepreneurship in the New Age", moderated by Associate Professor İnci ERDOĞAN TARAKÇI and Prof. Dr. Himmet KARADAL; Prof. Dr. Saeed SHOBEIRI from Canada and Mr. Fesih Zeki MERT, AZERTAG's Head of Turkey Office Associate Prof. Dr. Sabir SHAHTAKTI, Kyrgyzstan Associate Prof. Elira TURDUBAEVA, Romania Associate Prof. Dr. Dumitru GOLDBACH, Associate Dr. Mohammed ABUBAKAR, Associate Dr. Gulbeniz AKDU , Prof.Dr.Şevki ÖZGENER and President of the World Trade Business Development Council Ümit KAYA evaluated the current and future of entrepreneurship. The congress was successfully completed with the Gala program held in Ağaçlı and the Aksaray-Capodokya tour.
The 7th EMI Congress was held on 20-22 June 2022 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, hosted by TEAM University. Especially Turkey, USA, England, TRNC, Taiwan, Romania, Norway, Belgium, France, Argentina, Albania, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Georgia, Philippines, North Macedonia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria. 184 papers were presented by 278 academicians from 143 institutions or universities in 34 countries such as Malaysia, Bangladesh, Iran, UAE, India, Ukraine and Morocco.
At the opening ceremony of the 7th EMI Congress, Congress President Prof. Dr. Himmet KARADAL and Dean of TEAM University from Uzbekistan Prof.Dr. Erdogan EKIZ, founders of TEAM University Hikmat ABDURAHMANOV and Zafar KHASHIMOV, Sindor Abdunabievich BIYKUZIEV from Chamber of Commerce, Head of Entrepreneurship Center Sultonmurod Norbutaevich MEXRIDDINOV, Rector of Cambridge University Prof.Dr. Azamat ANVAROVICH, Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute Prof.Dr. Shavkat Sharipov SAFAROVICH, Rector of Diplomat University Assoc. Elyor Makhmudov, Director of Guba State Pedagogical University from Azerbaijan Assoc. Yusif ALIYEV shared information on the importance of entrepreneurship and cooperation.
At the 7th EMI Congress, a special session titled "Entrepreneurship and Social Sciences in the Turkish World" was held under the moderation of Prof.Dr.Himmet KARADAL and Prof.Dr.Erdogan EKİZ. Mirvokhid Azimov from the Turkic Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Zakir EMINOV from Selcuk University, Prof.Dr. Bünyamin AYHAN, Prof.Dr. Ali ERBAŞI, Prof.Dr. Şafak ÜNÜVAR, Assoc. Semih BÜYÜKİPEKCİ, Associate Professor Fatih VAROL, Prof.Dr. Muammer MESCI from Muş Alparslan University, Dr. Dr. Zeliha TEKİN, Dr. Hazar Dorduncu from Istanbul Nişantaşı University, Dr. Milana ABBASOVA, from Middlesex University, England, Dr. Soydan SOYLU and Entrepreneur Zeki Fesih Mert from Canada presented opinions and suggestions on the development of entrepreneurship in the Turkish world. The "Best Paper" award was presented to the successful paper holders in the congress, and a Gala and Tashkent Trip was organized.
The 6th EMI Congress was hosted by Bosnia and Herzegovina International Gorazde University on 16-18 September 2021, and scientific papers prepared by 184 academicians from 104 universities in 26 countries were presented online. At the panel held at the opening of the congress, presentations titled “Aksaray Province Brand Value Research” were made by Prof. Dr. Himmet KARADAL, Associate Professor Dr. İnci ERDOĞAN TARAKÇI, Associate Prof. Dr. Yavuz AKÇİ.
The 5th EMI Congress was held on 29-30 June 2020 in Gostivar/K. It was hosted by the International Vision University in Macedonia. 139 papers prepared and attended by 310 academic writers from 27 different countries were presented to the congress, which was held online due to the pandemic.
The 4th EMI Congress was held in Istanbul on 29-30 November 2019, hosted by Istanbul Nişantaşı University. At the congress, 230 academic papers were presented with the active participation of approximately 200 academicians. “Entrepreneurship Panel” was organized within the scope of the congress. Research Methods Workshop” was held with Dr. Lecturer Menekşe ŞAHİN KARADAL and Lecturer. 70 works were exhibited in the Mixed Exhibition organized under the moderation of Fatma KÜÇÜK. The congress was completed with the Gala program held in Istanbul Cemile Sultan Grove.
3rd EMI Congress; It was held on 28-30 June 2019 in Nicosia (TRNC) under the leadership and auspices of Cyprus Social Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa TÜMER. 158 academic papers were presented with the participation of 220 academicians from 88 different institutions & universities from 9 different countries, especially the TRNC. “Entrepreneurship and Social Sciences Panel” was organized within the scope of the congress. With the Solo Painting Exhibition of Dr. Lecturer Menekşe ŞAHİN KARADAL, Lect. See. 35 works were exhibited in Fatma KÜÇÜK's Personal Photography Exhibition. Famagusta Trip was organized at the end of the congress.
2nd EMI Congress; It was held on 9-11 November 2018 in Cappadocia, hosted by Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. 238 academic papers were presented with the participation of 365 academics from 13 countries and 101 different institutions & universities. The "Entrepreneurship Education" panel and "Social and Global Entrepreneurship Panel" were organized within the scope of the congress, and the "Innovative Research Methods Workshop" was held. Dr. Instructor 40 works were exhibited under the curatorship of its member Menekşe ŞAHİN KARADAL. “Classical Turkish Music” concert was held by Assoc.Prof.Ali Kerim ÖNER and Dr.Ayçin ÖNER and a Cappadocia Trip was organized at the end of the congress.
First EMI Congress; It was held on 27-29 April 2018 in Nicosia (TRNC) under the leadership and patronage of Cyprus Social Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa TÜMER. 264 academic papers were presented with the participation of 370 academicians from 10 countries and 68 different institutions & universities, mainly Turkey and TRNC. “Entrepreneurship and Ethics Panel” was organized within the scope of the congress. Rector of Çağ University Prof.Dr.Ünal AY and Rector of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Prof.Dr.Sedat MURAT made presentations on the subject. Again, within the scope of the congress, "Turkish Arts Exhibition" was organized under the curatorship of Prof. Dr. Neslihan KIYAR & Dr. Lecturer Menekşe ŞAHİN KARADAL, and 27 works were exhibited in the exhibition. In the opening program of the congress, “UD Recital” was performed by Associate Professor Ali Kerim ÖNER and a tour to Kyrenia was organized at the end of the congress.
At EMI, it is essential to enrich cultural values through strategic cooperation. EMI focuses on the development of quality and cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship, management and social sciences with congress organization, publishing and training activities in every country, especially in the Turkish World.
